Weekend Headband

Weekend Headband is knitted in the round in rib and laid double. The turn-up and closing edges sit in the middle of the inside of the headband, and these are joined at the end with a stitch in rib. A double stitch is knitted along the waist edges to ensure a permanent placement of these.

Size: 3-9 years (S) M (L)

Measurements: Fits head circumference 51-53 (54-56) 57-59 (60-63) cm

Knitting gauge: 24 stitches x 29 rows in rib (1 purl, 1 purl) on needles 3.5 mm = 10 x 10 cm

Guide needles: Two circular needles 3.5 mm (40 cm)

Materials: Proposal 1: approx. 45 (52) 55 (61) g Peruvian Highland Wool from Filcolana (50 g = 100 m) or Alpaca wool from Sandnes Garn (50 g = 100 m)

Proposal 2: 36 (41) 44 (49) g Jensen from Isager (50 g = 125 m) together with 11 (12) 13 (15) g Silk Mohair from Isager (25 g = 212 m)
