Thin Lama wool from CaMaRose is a soft. rustic. 1-thread yarn consisting of 50% Lama wool and 50% Peruvian Highland wool.
Thin Lama wool is of the same wonderful quality as Lama wool 1/2. Two strands of Thin Llama wool are a fine alternative to and together with Llama wool.
Llama wool fibers are a natural product. lanolin-free. light and strong. The hollow structure of the fibers provides an exceptionally good insulating ability. which means that llama wool is significantly warmer than ordinary sheep's wool.
The rustic expression of the yarn. high insulating ability and strength make Lamauld particularly suitable for classic Nordic knitwear. shawls. scarves. baby blankets and other clothing that must be light. strong and warm.
NOTE. Due to its thickness and the 1-thread spinning, thin Lama wool has a tendency to rotate in the stitch pattern when it is knitted in the round in stockinette stitch with one thread alone.
