Santiago Light

Santiago Light is spun on fine merino wool and soft baby alpaca, and the fine fibers are held together by a thin mesh of recycled polyamide. The good fiber composition gives a light and airy yarn quality, which is also both warm and durable. The fibers from merino wool and baby alpaca give the yarn a very special woolly and fluffy structure.

Both wool and alpaca are natural fibers that warm and have high breathability. The merino wool is extremely soft and comfortable, as the yarn is spun on merino wool in an extra fine version. Compared to sheep's wool, baby alpaca is actually both softer and warmer. The combination of the extra fine merino wool and wonderfully soft baby alpaca therefore makes Santiago Light a fantastically delicious yarn, which you will also experience when you either knit or crochet with the yarn.

The polyamide fiber gives Santiago Light a high wear resistance, without affecting comfort, just as the yarn is spun from 100% recycled polyamide.
