Herring Slipover
Herring Slipover
Sille Slipover has a fine textured pattern and is knitted from top to bottom with textured knit in a purl and purl pattern. First the back is knitted, then the shoulders and the front piece. The body is then knitted, and finally ribbed edges are knitted in the neck and sleeve opening.
Size guide
Please note that you can only proceed from the measurements in the recipe if the knitting strength is respected.
Sille Slipover should have room to move ( positive ease) of approx. 6-10 cm in relation to your chest measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) correspond to a chest measurement measured on your own body of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) cm. The dimensions of the finished slipover are indicated on the front of the recipe. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the chest (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A slipover in size S has an excess width of 96 cm and, in the example mentioned, will provide a room for movement ( positive ease ) of
6 cm. If a more oversize fit is desired, knit one size larger.
