Ingrid Slipover is a beautiful vest that is knitted from top to bottom with structured knitting. First, knit the back, which is shaped with a double-pointed needle to form a shoulder slope. Then stitches are picked up for the shoulders, which are gathered at the front for the front piece. Front and back are gathered under the armhole and form the body, which is knitted straight down. A ribbed edge is knitted in the armhole and in the neck. Ingrid Slipover is knitted with structured knit, which consists of three different pattern segments. Between each of these, a segment with a hole pattern is knitted.

IMPORTANT: Make a knitting test before you start to measure the knitting strength - note that the knitting strength in both height and width must match, so that the measurements given on the front cover will fit.

Size guide

Ingrid Slipover should have room to move ( positive ease) of approx. 20 cm in relation to your chest measurement. The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to a chest measurement measured on your own body of 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) ) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The dimensions of the finished slipover are indicated on the front of the recipe. Measure yourself before you start knitting to determine which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 90 cm around the chest (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size S. A slipover in size S has an excess width of 108 cm and, in the example mentioned, will provide a room for movement ( positive ease ) of 18 cm.
