Hattesens Konfektfabrik is located on the harbor in Ærøskøbing.

The licorice confection is made according to old traditions.
The sensation of licorice, the aroma in, and the texture of, the confection mass - we are sure that you will be able to taste all of this at the first bite of our licorice confection.

"Less sugar, more taste" is the main idea behind the licorice confection and through our clear choice of natural and pure raw materials right from the start, quality was almost a given. Plenty of berries replaced part of the sugar, giving the squares bright colors and a fantastic taste. The licorice, cooked on wholegrain rice flour and 10% raw acrid, gives the licorice confection tremendous depth and aftertaste.
