The Oslo sweater from PetiteKnit is knitted from the top down. First, the back piece is knitted back and forth on circular needle. Then sts are picked up and the shoulders are knitted separately to then be gathered for the front of the piece. Back piece and front piece come together under the armhole to form the body. which is then knitted in the round on a circular needle. The sleeves and neckline are knitted from the gathered sts at the end.
