Novice Sweater is written especially for the new knitter. The recipe is written in detail without abbreviations.
Novice Sweater is knitted from the top down. Meaning. that you start by knitting the neckline. then the carrier piece. then the body and finally the sleeves. The sweater is knitted in stockinette stitch. while the edges are worked in rib.
The Novice Sweater has a round yoke. It is formed by that along the way, four rounds of increases are knitted evenly distributed on the support piece.
Size guide and measurements
Note. that you can only proceed from the measurements in the recipe. if the knitting strength is observed.
The sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) 5XL correspond to chest measurements of approximately 80-85 (85-90) 90-95 (95-100) 100-110 (110-120) 120-130 (130-140) 140-150 cm. The Novice Sweater should have a room for movement (positive ease) of 5-10 cm. It means. that if, for example, you measure 90 cm around the chest (measure yourself with a measuring tape). you should knit a size S. which has an excess of 98 cm.

Knitting density: 16 stitches x 21 rows in stockinette stitch on needles 6 mm = 10 x 10 cm
Guide needles: Circular needle 5.5 and 6 mm (40 and 80 or 100 cm). double pointed needles 5.5 mm unless using Magic Loop technique
