Clitrose Snaps

The Klitrose schnapps has several flavor notes from the heath and the beach. Spicy and round in taste, which ends in a honey-like sweetness.

The klitrosen are small black rose hips, which are quite rare these days. We pick them in July and August in Blåvand, and it's almost like a treasure hunt when we're out picking them because they hide.

The Klitrose schnapps is aged for a whole year, and acquires a lovely red color that reminds us of amber.

Mr. Skov's spiced schnapps should not be served ice cold, but at room temperature to bring out all the flavor nuances.
