Celeste Sweater is knitted from the top down with a round yoke. First, the neckline is knitted, and then the yoke is knitted in the round in pattern with 5 different colors according to the diagram. Reverse rows are knitted according to the pattern of the yoke to knit the back higher and thus create a good fit. The body and sleeves are knitted in the round in stocking stitch and both are finished with a rib edge.
Please note that pattern knitting often requires a needle size 0.5-1 mm thicker than solid color stocking stitch. Therefore, make a knitting sample in both pattern knitting and solid color stocking stitch before you start.
Size guide
Celeste Sweater should have a positive ease of approx. 15 cm in relation to your chest measurement. The sizes XXS (XS) S (M) L (XL) 2XL (3XL) 4XL (5XL) correspond to a chest measurement of 75-80 (80-85) 85-90 (90-95) 95-100 (100-110) 110-120 (120-130) 130-140 (140-150) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater are given on the front of the pattern. Measure yourself before you start knitting to assess which size will fit you best. For example, if you measure 85 cm around the chest (or the widest part of your body), you should knit a size XS. A sweater in size XS has a width of 100 cm and in the example mentioned will provide a positive ease of movement of 15 cm.
