Baby cardigan with lice

Baby cardigan with lice is a classic and warm cardigan with patterned knit in two colours. The cardigan is knitted from the bottom up, back and forth on a circular needle. The sleeves are knitted in the round on double pointed needles and knitted together with the ball on the yoke. To avoid having to break the yarn on the ball and the support piece, knit several rows from the purl side. When cutting the neck, it cannot be avoided that the yarn breaks. In the pattern, it is always indicated which side is knitted from.
The recipe contains both diagrams and a description of the diagrams.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION:

• Size: 1 (2) 3 years.
• Chest width of the finished model: 62 (64) 67 cm measured from opening edge to closure.
  
• Movement space: The cardigan has a movement space of approx. 10-12 cm.
  
• Full length of the model: 32 (36) 38 cm.
  
• Yarn: Llama wool (50% wool and 50% llama) from CaMaRose.dk.
  
• Yarn alternative: LamaTweed from CaMaRose.dk.
  
• Yarn consumption: 2 (3) 3 skeins color 1 and 2 (2) 2 skeins color 2 . For the 2-coloured model , Off-white no. 6000 ( color 1 ) and Brown-melted no. 6085 ( color 2 ) are used.
  
• Yarn consumption for leftover yarn: 2 (3) 3 keys color 1 and yarn scraps in 6 (6) 6 different colors of approx. 20 grams per colour.
  
• Indicative knitting needles: Circular needle size 5 (80 cm) and double pointed needles size 5.
  
• Knit strength: 18 mx 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch according to the pattern on needle no. 5.
  
• Accessories: 5 buttons 18 mm.
