Amélie TEE Junior

Amélie Tee Junior is knitted top down in stocking stitch and stripes. First work back and forth on the needle to form the neckline, then gather the piece so that the rest of the yoke is worked in the round on circular needle with raglan increases. Along the neckline, pick up stitches and knit a stocking stitch edge.

Size guide

Amélie Tee Junior should have a positive ease of approx. 9 cm in relation to the chest measurement. The sizes 1-2 (2-3) 3-4 (4-5) 5-6 (6-7) 7-8 (8-9) 9-10 (10-11) 11-12 (12-13) 13-14 years correspond to a chest measurement of approx. 53 (54) 56 (57) 59 (62) 64 (68) 72 (75) 78 (80) 82 cm. The measurements of the finished blouse are given on the front of the pattern (note that these measurements only apply if the knitting tension is observed). For example, if you/the recipient measures 62 cm around the chest, you should knit a size 6-7 years. A blouse in size 6-7 years has a width of 71 cm and in the example given will provide a positive ease of movement of 9 cm. If the measured chest measurement deviates from the age guide, you should be aware of adapting the lengths to the person you are knitting for. The same applies if the child is shorter/taller than average.
