A Painter's Vest

A Painter's Vest is knitted top down.

Reversals are knitted in the neck to raise the back and give a better fit.
When the yoke is knitted. divide the work into body and sleeves.

The sleeve stitches are put on a thread/wire and rest. while the body is knitted to the appropriate length and closed off.

The sleeves are then knitted. The neckline is knitted at the end.

• Upper width: Fits chest width: 80-98 (98-108) 108-118 cm. Overall width (finished measurements of the vest): 102 (112) 122 cm.
• Knitting tension: 21 mx 29 rows = 10 x 10 cm on needle no. 4.0 mm
• Yarn: The vest is knitted with two threads: one thread Merino and one thread Silky Mohair from Painter's Yarn.
• 300 (300) 300g. 100% Merino wool from Painter's Yarn (100 g/366 m)
• 100 (150) 150 g. Silky Mohair from Painter's Yarn (50 g/420 m)
• Yarn suggestion: 1 thread of Yaku from CaMaRose together with 1 thread of Midnight Sun or Moonbeam from CaMaRose
• Needles: 4.0mm circular needle 80 cm and double pointed needles / 3.5mm (rib) 80 cm and double pointed needles
